Who We Are
LASSI is a Michigan Non-Profit and 501(c)3 organized to support the Oceana County Animal Control shelter located in Shelby, MI.
Remember when you adopt a shelter pet you save two lives, the one you adopt and the one that takes it's place.
What We Do
We pay for veterinary care for the abandoned companion animals at the Oceana County Animal Control Shelter in Oceana County. Volunteers socialize the dogs and cats and provide basic household pet training.
Adopt a Shelter Pet
The adoption fee for dogs is $95 and for cats is $35. All are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered or come with certificates and up to date on shots.
